Scholarships and Sponsorships
We aid students of music by helping to raise scholarship money for study at all levels, from our music camps to other partner non-profit music organizations, for private lessons and college attendance.
Chudwuke Christian Okeke was a self-taught cellist living in Lagos, Nigeria. When he came to our attention as a highly gifted and motivated musician, we helped him apply to the University of Missouri St. Louis school of music, to which he was accepted, and where he began his studies as an undergraduate in January of 2022. He was awarded a place on the Dean’s List for his academic achievement, and has received two modest scholarships since beginning his studies: one for his academic success, and one that is a Diversity and Inclusion scholarship. We are continuing to raise the funds necessary to help him continue and complete his degree there. In addition to a full load of classes at UMSL, he holds down two work-study jobs. If you’re interested in donating to our scholarship fund, please contact us; donations are tax-deductible. We’d love to have you on our team! We also provide sponsorships for various music entrepreneurs around the world and here in the United States.
Daudi Joseph lives in Tanzania and is a multi-talented, self-taught musician and recording engineer who built his own recording studio with his own hands and the help of a few friends, both the outside and the inside. We were able to help him buy materials such as bricks and mortar, paint, drywall, cement, electrical wiring and fixtures, and also a lot of second-hand recording equipment and furnishings that have enabled him to record musicians there ever since. In his gratitude he has also committed himself to helping others as much as he is able. He has recorded and filmed women and children from his small town inside and outside the studio, composing the music, rehearsing the ensembles, and accompanying them on his piano keyboard or with musical accompaniment he has pre-recorded for them. He has scoured the internet for recording advice and techniques so that he can provide the best quality recording services possible. He is only able to work in his studio when it is not the rainy season there, the rain being so torrential that he must protect all his equipment and shut the doors for months at a time. But when he is able to resume his recording he does so with skill, and with love. He is a self-made entrepreneur and we are so happy to have helped him build his business, literally from the ground up!
